Abstract We extend stochastic thermodynamics by relaxing the two assumptions that Markovian dynamics must be linear and equilibrium distribution a Boltzmann distribution. show if we require second law to hold when those are relaxed, then it cannot formulated in terms of Shannon entropy. However, thermodynamic consistency is salvaged reformulate generalized entropy; our first result an equation relating precise form non-linear master associated entropy which results consistency. build on this usual trajectory-level definitions quantities appropriate even relaxed. end using these derive extended versions Crooks fluctuation theorem Jarzynski equality apply

Stochastic thermodynamics, fluctuation theorems and molecular machines.
Stochastic thermodynamics as reviewed here systematically provides a framework for extending the notions of classical thermodynamics such as work, heat and entropy production to the level of individual trajectories of well-defined non-equilibrium ensembles. It applies whenever a non-equilibrium process is still coupled to one (or several) heat bath(s) of constant temperature. Paradigmatic syste...

abstract type-ii fuzzy logic has shown its superiority over traditional fuzzy logic when dealing with uncertainty. type-ii fuzzy logic controllers are however newer and more promising approaches that have been recently applied to various fields due to their significant contribution especially when the noise (as an important instance of uncertainty) emerges. during the design of type- i fuz...

The fluctuation theorem has a very special place in the study of nonequilibrium dynamics of physical systems. The form in which it is used most extensively is the Gallavoti-Cohen fluctuation theorem which is in terms of the distribution of the work p(W)/p(-W)=exp(αW). We derive the general form of the fluctuation theorems for an arbitrary multidimensional Gaussian Markov process. Interestingly,...
متن کاملFluctuation theorem for stochastic systems.
The fluctuation theorem describes the probability ratio of observing trajectories that satisfy or violate the second law of thermodynamics. It has been proved in a number of different ways for thermostatted deterministic nonequilibrium systems. In the present paper we show that the fluctuation theorem is also valid for a class of stochastic nonequilibrium systems. The theorem is therefore not r...
